Meet the creative force behind our brand, Deborah Dianne Smith, affectionately known as "Debbie Cakes." Her "sweet" journey began at the tender age of 7 in Kingston Jamaica, when she lovingly made a cake for her parents' wedding anniversary.

This transformative moment, interwoven with cherished memories of baking alongside her mother, ignited a lifelong passion for the art of baking. She started her entrepreneurial journey as early as prep school and started selling cakes by the slice during her high school years. This early venture laid the groundwork for her future success as a renowned baker and entrepreneur.

More than a decade after migrating to Atlanta Georgia, to pursue a college education, Deborah's admiration for reality tv star "Cake Boss," Buddy Valastro reignited her passion for baking and inspired her to delve into the world of cake decorating. Self taught, in just six months, Deborah's dedication and innate talent for cake design became evident and in January 2011 Deborah Dianne Creations was born.

Deborah continued to hone her skills and passion for cake design and in 2012, made the bold decision to leave behind her corporate career to pursue her entrepreneurial dreams full-time. This leap of faith marked a pivotal moment in her life and career.

Relocating to South Florida in 2013 further fueled the growth of her business, where her impeccable eye for design and unwavering attention to detail have elevated her once-part-time hobby into a thriving enterprise, cementing her reputation as the preeminent baker, sought after by clientele both near and far.
